General Meeting Minutes
at
White Bluff Resort
November 9, 2010

President Karen Williams called the meeting to order. She thanked everyone for playing and recognized the Director of Golf, Kelly O’Donnell and the dinning manager, Michael Stone. Karen stated that she appreciated all the many ladies who contributed personal rounds of golf so that members could play a practice round. She recognized the LGA President, Debbie Ford and Linda Yearie for their help in organization of the play day.

Minutes were approved from the previous event.

Treasurer, Diane Kirwan gave the report. The November balance was $1,703.40.

Karen announced how grateful she was for serving as the President of CTWGA. She asked that each members of the 2009-2010 board stand as she called each name. Karen also, acknowledged the help of Joyce Libbey in updating and maintaining the website for Central Texas. Karen stated her concern that 5 clubs will no longer be members of CTWGA. Several reasons were cited. She encouraged members to seek out new clubs. Robson Ranch, will be the newest addition and will host the play day in May. Trophy Club agreed to host the two-day tournament, and play will be conducted on both courses, the Hogan and the Whitworth.

Two new players received golf balls for playing for the first time.

Pat Davis announced the winners for each flight. Gail Hitt, Diamond Oaks, was the low gross winner (85) and Linda Snyder, White Bluff, was the low net winner (72).
