General Meeting Minutes

Webb Hill C.C., October 8, 2008
President Chris Duncan called the meeting to order. She thanked CTWGA Representative Kay Crumpton and her volunteers for spotting and helping players on the course.
Minutes from the September meeting had been posted on the web site; there had been no corrections or revisions. There were no responses to President Duncan’s inquiry as to whether or not anyone desired revisions. The Treasurer reported a balance on hand as of September 1 of $732.76. After receipts and payments for the September event there was a balance on hand on October 1, 2008, was $1,030.45.
One first-time player was recognized and presented a golf ball. There was an announcement of a Halloween Shamble at Webb Hill on Wednesday, October 29 at a cost of $21, including lunch.
President Duncan announced an amendment to the Bylaws; Article 3, Section 1 presently stipulates that “No club may have two (2) or more Directors simultaneously.” In order to stimulate participation, the Board has voted to revise that to stipulate that “No club may have three (3) or more Directors simultaneously.”
President Duncan advised that the schedule for 2009 will be made available at the November event to be held at Canyon Creek in Richardson. The two-day tournament will be at Brookhaven.
