General Meeting Minutes

Canyon Creek C.C., November 12, 2008
President Chris Duncan called the meeting to order and welcomed everyone. She thanked Canyon Creek CTWGA representative Deborah Connors and other volunteers for a terrific job.
First time players were recognized and presented one golf ball each.
President Duncan announced that minutes from the October meeting had been posted to the web site so would not be read; anyone who finds exception should notify Chris or Barbara. The Treasurer reported a balance on hand as of October 1, 2008, of $1,030.45 and a balance on hand as of November 1 of $958.28.
There were no club announcements or news.
The next event will be March 2009 at Van Zandt Country Club in Canton.
President Duncan thanked the members for allowing her to be president and introduced President-elect Gail Robinson. President-elect Robinson presented President Duncan with a pin to commemorate her presidency and introduced the 2009 Board of Directors.
Director Mable Peruta announced that everyone needs to be familiar with the rule book. The monthly handicap sheet must be received from the club representative or pro shop before the pairings go to the pro shop (Friday before we play); if the handicap sheet is not received, players from that club must play scratch. Handicap sheets may be submitted by mail or by email.
Low gross of the field went to Chris Braatz, DAC, with 82
Low net of the field went to Sherry Bledsoe, Holly Lake, with 71.
